Director Bios





Beth Vermillion, recently moved to Georgia from Cypress, Texas where she directed Texas Stars, a youth choir.  She has been singing in choirs for 25 years; from the Houston Children's Chorus to the Professional Choral Adult Ensemble, Consono.  Beth received her degree in Elementary Education and taught sixth grade for several years in Utah.  During that time she also directed school plays and performed at church youth camps.  She also spent three years directing the children's choir for her local church congregation.  Beth is the mother of three children and is passionate about creating opportunities for children to explore their talents and perform!




Katy Vermillion has directed children and teenagers on the stage in a variety of capacities for the past 15 years, most recently as the founder/owner of Pied Piper Theater here in Georgia.  She taught theater at Stapley Middle School in Arizona for many years and enjoyed instilling the love of musical theater in her students.  Katy has also participated in directing musical performances for church and community functions both in Arizona and Georgia.  She is the mother of three little ones that keep her on her toes.
